For most other games the odds of 1.65 to win at hdp. -2.0 would be very small, but here I think it is just right. Hand on heart, Ajax are so insanely on fire on all fronts that I can't even imagine, there will be only one-goal Ajax win over the Turks. Ajax is playing so great and comfortable that I'm convinced they'll wipe out Besiktas.
Ajax beat away Sporting Lisbon 5:1 in the 1st round! Besiktas lost 1:2 at home to Dortmund. And I don't think Besiktas is any better than Sporting Portugal.
Besiktas is even 4th in the league at home after 7 rounds, in the last round they lost 1:2 at Altay. The round before that, they drew 3-3 at home with the average Demirspor. And now they are going to take on the high-flying Ajax.
Ajax are really unstoppable at this time. Apart from the 5-1 debacle against Sporting, Ajax have no competition at home.
After 7 rounds they have 19 points, a 6-1-0 and a 30-1 score!
At home, they have 4-0-0 and a 22-0 score! Simply phenomenal form.
Since the start of the league: 5-0, 1-1 (at Twente), 5-0, 2-0, 9-0, 5-0, 3-0.
Ajax's top scorer so far is striker Sebastien Haller (27y.o.). He has scored 5 goals in the league, however, he has scored 4 goals against Sporting in that first round! Sebastien was born in France and represented the country in the U17 category. However, he represents Ivory Coast in the senior category.
Of course Ajax is not just Haller, it's a whole lost of great players. It's also Brazilian Neres, Danish international Mohamed Daramy, Brazilians Danilo and Antony or Moroccan Mazraoui, although the defender has already scored 4 goals in 7 games in the league this season. Also Serbian international and striker Tadic, 4 goals this year too, 3 goals in 6 games in the EL last year.
Last season, Ajax narrowly missed out on advancing out of the CL group (all they have to do was beat Atalanta in the last round, which they didn't). This year, I think, it will be a different ride and Ajax will leave no one in doubt from the first rounds that they will be uncompromisingly aiming for advancement.
I can't imagine at all that with the form they're showing, they should be stuck at Besiktas. I'll take that two-goal difference as a minimum.
Prediction:
Asian Handicap: Ajax -2.0 @ 1.65 (bet365)
