CHALLENGER MEN - SINGLES: Eckental (Germany) - Qualification, hard (indoor) - Final
Zverev Mischa (342.) - Heyman Christopher (398.)
In the second qualifying round of the indoor event in Eckental, I prefer Heyman. He won the title at the ITF event in Antalya this year and has a 31/21 score overall. Lately he has been trying his luck in challengers and has scored scalps against Blancaneux, Arnaboldi, Mayotte, De Jong and Brouwer. Here he defeated Setkic in the first round.
Zverev is a seasoned veteran at 34 years of age, showing less and less on the circuit and more and more dedicated to working for Eurosport. This year Zverev has a score of 11/19 and you can see that Zverev is already starting to fall behind at the highest level and is slowly but surely not catching up. Zverev had an easy job with Mujakic in the opening round of the qualifiers.
The bet is mainly based on Zverev, who is now mainly working for Eurosport and we don't see him on court that often anymore. Zverev hasn't exactly been on form either, and Heyman makes a slightly better impression on me after all.
Christopher Heyman to win @ 1.94
