CHALLENGER MEN - SINGLES: Pau (France), hard (indoor) - 1/16-finals
Here I will play a win for a 26 year old Belgian Michael Geerts who is currently 340th in the world rankings and this year he has a score of 37/27. He has reached the semifinals of two challengers, he has also beat players like Kudla, Forejtek, Guinard, Bonzi, Nava, J. Sousa, Barrios Vera, E.Gomez and these are just very good wins. Here at the tournament he defeated Lapala and also the slight favourite Rosenkranz in two sets! His indoor score is 6/5 this year and 32/24 overall.
On the other side of the court we will look at his opponent which will be a 32 year old Italian tennis player Roberto Marcora, who is 199th in the world rankings and has a score of 16/34 this year when he is not doing well and the results there are pretty miserable. For example, He actualy has 5 losses in a row! I don't see any improvement in him at all. He hasn't won more than 2 games in a row this year. His indoor score is 3/11 this year and 89/80 overall.
