CHALLENGER MEN - SINGLES: Napoli (Italy), clay - 1/16-finals
Berrettini Jacopo (453.) - Pellegrino Andrea (228.)
I'm going to try for a surprise in Napoli, in the form of Berrettini, because odds of 4.50 seem too much. He can surprise the favourites on home soil as an outsider. Just this year in Biella, he managed to beat Kuhn (257.), Petrovic (209.) and Ramanathan (191.). In Forlì he surprised Giannesi (185. - odds 5,05) and Cachin (274. - odds 4,25) and in Barletta he took a set from Martin (120.).
Pellegrino has had a rollercoaster of results this year. It hasn't been a great start to the year. In April, he won the title at the Challenger in Rome. Since then, it's been misery for Pellegrino and he only caught on at the last event in Lisbon. There he made it to the final, where he fell 0:2 to Popko (164.).
Andrea Pellegrino didn't have much time after the move and I wouldn't be surprised to see some satisfaction after a decent tournament. Jacopo has shown this year that he can surprise the favourites at home as an outsider. I don't see that much of a difference between the players here to make Berrettini odds 4.50.
