CHALLENGER MEN - SINGLES: Como (Italy), clay - Final
Here I will be playing a win for a 19 year old Argentine named Juan Manuel Cerundolo who is currently ranked 135th in the world rankings. His career score on clay is 114/64.
This year he has a score of 35/19 when he played everything on clay and I like that he also beat Van De Zandschulp (117.), Coria (62.), Kecmanovic (63.), Seyboth Wilde (119.), Ramos Vinolas (48.), Varillas (124.). And most importantly he won through the ATP Qualifiers tournament in Cordoba! He also won one challenger in Rome.
Here at the tournament he once again confirms his qualities and beat here Lamasine (260.), Zeppieri (251.) who retired, Serdarusic (247.) and also Altmaier (106.) who retired.
His opponent will be a 23 year old Italian tennis player named Gian Marco Moroni who is currently ranked 253rd in the world rankings and has a score of 23/23 this year and won one challenger in Milan. His career score on clay is 173/130. He doesn't play that badly, but for me he's a less quality player than his opponent and Moroni is a player I think can be beaten easily.
Moroni beat Vatutin (332.) here, who retired in the first set, then Gaio (159.), Arnaboldi (300.) and Vavassori (358.), who also retired at 1:1.
This year he was also beaten by Sachko (269.), Basic (267.), Forti (342.), Sijsling (324.)...
Juan Manuel Cerundolo to win @ 1.61 (bet365)
