Celtic didn't defend the league title for the tenth time in a row last season and it doesn't look like they will win it this season. As they are losing regularly. They have only four points from their last four games. They are currently in 6th place after 7 rounds with a 3-1-3 score.
The Scottish team have to fight their way through qualification. In the first group match they faced the Spanish team Betis. Although they were 2-0 up after less than 30 minutes, less than 25 minutes later they were 2-4 down. At the very end they only managed to ease the defeat to 3:4.
Leverkusen are in second place after six rounds, three points behind Bayern. Leverkusen's score is 4-1-1, they split the points with Union Berlin (1-1) and lost to Dortmund (3-4). They beat, for example, Monchengladbach 4:0 home or 4:1 away against Augsburg.
They beat Ferencváros 2-1 in the Europa League, although the Hungarian side went ahead in the 8th minute. Both goals were assisted by right back Frimpong, who added two more assists in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen's offense is spread out among several players. 18-year-old Wirtz has 5+4 in the current season, who hasn't had a game this season in a Bayer Leverkusen jersey where he hasn't scored a point, either for a goal or an assist, then there is Schick 4+0 or Diaby 3+1.
