Bayern Munich already weakened their opponent before the game as they managed to buy Upamecano, Sabitzer and coach Nagelsmann.
Bayern have won the Bundesliga for the last 9 seasons and have dominated German football for a long time. This season, although they only drew with Gladbach in the first round, which was not such a big surprise, it was the first league match under the new coach. Most of the A-team was not played because they had long holidays and mainly young players played in pre-season. Since the first match, Bayern won the Super Cup against Dortmund 3:1, the first round of the Cup against Bremer 12:0 and the league matches against Cologne 3:2 and Hertha 5:0. Bayern now face Leipzig on their way to three points.
Leipzig did not start this season well. Before the season, coach Nagelsmann left the team for Bayern and with him also Upamecano and now also captain Sabitzer. To make matters worse Leipzig also left Konaté who headed to Liverpool. Leipzig is therefore weakened and has lost 2 out of 3 league games so far, 0:1 to both Mainz and Wolfsburg. They won only in the second round at home 4:0 against Stuttgart.
Playing Bayern to win at odds of 1.70 and having an safer bet (draw no bet) is not something we get to do every day. The quality is clearly higher on Bayern's side and Leipzig's start to the season didn't go well at all. Leipzig are in no form to beat Bayern at this moment.
