Hertha surprisingly sacked Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park in the last round and confirmed their good form by winning the third of their last five league games (3-0-2), yet remain in the second half of the table. Hertha is also struggling defensively due to a number of injuries (Jarstein, Dárdai, Torunarigha, Klünter or Zeefuik) - they have never kept a clean sheet and have conceded at least once in all eight games - and have the worst defensive in the league with 21 goals conceded. They will try to improve this against Borussia Mönchengladbach, who are their favourite opponent as they have lost only one of their previous six league games (2-3-1) and also have a good score against Gladbach at the Olympiastadion (18-7-8).
Gladbach are not doing as well as expected under coach Adi Hütter and have had their worst start to league since the 2016/17 season, taking only 11 points from eight games. The visitors have won seven of them from the last three rounds, boosting their confidence, which they will be looking to confirm in the capital city.
We can expect more goals and, as in six of the last eight games, they could fall on both sides.
