In the 17th round of the Bundesliga, Hertha, who are currently 14th in the table, will face second-placed Dortmund.
Dortmund have a relatively good score in their last five games, namely three wins, one draw and one loss. In their last league match they deservedly beat Fürth 3-0, but before that they only drew with Bochum, although they had a dominance in the match (23:4 on shots and 15:0 on corner kicks). In the last match of the Champions League group stage, they won 5-0 against Besiktas and advanced from third place to the Europa League. Dortmund will miss Jude Bellingham due to yellow cards, Hazard was injured on Wednesday and will also have to miss the game. The start of Roman Burki, Raphael Guerreiro, Mateu Morey, Marcel Schmelzer and Marius Wolf is not certain and it can be expected that they will have to miss this match.
Hertha have two losses, two draws and one win in their last five games. In their last game they lost 0:4 against Mainz, who are sixth in the table. Hertha were the worse side in the match, managing to put only one shot on target and earn one corner kick. Hertha will have to do without Jovetic, who is the team's single top scorer with five goals. The team will also miss Serdar, who was injured in the last game. Perhaps the most noticeable absence will be the three defenders whose start is not certain - Peter Pekarik, Marton Dardai and Lukas Klünter.
Dortmund can rely on Haaland in attack, who has scored seven goals in his last five games after his injury and is in contention to be the Bundesliga's top scorer. Haaland will be looking to assert himself against a weakened defence of a team from the bottom of the table.
I think Dortmund is capable of winning by at least two goals.
H2H:
Dortmund 2:0 Hertha
Hertha 2:5 Dortmund
My prediction: Asian Handicap: Dortmund -1.0 @ 2.09 (bet365)
