Arminia Bielefeld got their first league win of the season two weeks ago (1-5-5), but remain in the relegation zone, one point behind 16th-placed Augsburg. Coach Frank Kramer's team has long been hampered by an unproductive offense - with seven goals scored, they have the worst offense in the competition, averaging just 0.73 goals per game since returning to the 1. Bundesliga. The home team's record against Wolfsburg is not good either, as they have lost their last six matches in all competitions and failed to score in four of them.
Wolfsburg also benefited from a change of coach, winning both league matches and the Champions League match against Salzburg under Florian Kohfeldt, putting them back in contention for qualification from the group stage. They have not yet conceded a goal under their new coach and can keep a clean sheet in three matches in Germany's top league for the first time since February. Given Bielefeld's goal scoring impotence, they could do well, but their main goal is to get another three points.
There are several advantages for the home team - home stadium, the first wins in the last rounds and a large number of the opponent's injury list. On the other hand, the form and set-up of the team plays in Wolfsburg's favour, who had some time off after a tough schedule to rest and train. That's why I'll play for a clean away win today.
My prediction: Wolfsburg @ 1.95 (bet365)
