From tonight's NHL game Buffalo Sabres vs Edmonton Oilers, I chose "double bet" that Edmonton will win and Connor McDavid will score a goal.
The visitors are almost without a doubt the favourites in this game, Buffalo has been in the rebuilding for X years, a lot of players have left the team, a week ago the best player Eichel finally got traded and frankly they are expected to sweep the bottom of the table again. Their current form is terrible the last 5 games have ended in losses and I expect the Sabres to get no points. It's hard to find positives for this team, Tokarski will be defending the net today with a 90.21% success rate and this is goalkeeper who has spent most of his career playing on different farms and would have been a top three, let alone number two, on most teams.
Edmonton Oilers are the team that currently leads the Western Conference, very good form from 5 games 4 wins and this team has incredibly strong first two lines. Both lines are working great. McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, Hyman are names that need no introduction
Canadian points currently led by 1st Draisaitl - 12 games / 26 points, 2nd McDavid - 24 points.
Connoc McDavid 24 year old super talent, in my opinion the best player in the NHL, 5 seasons in a row over 100 points, 34 - 41 goals per season. Incredibly fast and skilled player who rightfully owns several trophies at his young age, this year will be no different.
Last game this guy didn't score, but I believe he will score tonight. He is the most frequent scorer of Oilers in 12 games, he has 52 shots on the goalkeepers and he and Draisaitl get the most space of any forward in NHL, more than 22 minutes per game.
