Here I go against the favourite in a match that could be decided: home stadium and the current form of the visitors and especially the fact that Calgary is playing its fifth away game in the last week, which is quite challenging due to travel etc.
Just out of interest: Calgary has only won in regulation time at this stadium twice since 1993, in 2018 and 1996.
Today we will not talk about the team's position in the table, but about the latest results.
Buffalo won against struggling Pittsburgh and also managed to beat upset Edmonton. Against Detroit they only got a point and against Washington and Toronto didn't get a single point, but played a good game.
Calgary won only against the worst team in the conference, Ottawa, then got a point each at the Flyers and Toronto. Then they clearly failed to win games against Montreal, which is not in form this year, and then at home against the Sharks.
My bet:
Buffalo Sabres to win in regular time @ 3.50 (bet365)
