Premier League
Manchester United's performances may not be entirely convincing yet, but the Red Devils have not lost a competitive game since the sacking of coach Solskjaer (4-2-0) and have won three in a row in the Premier League, most recently with a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo. Three league wins in a row have moved United back into the top six and put them back in contention for the Champions League places. Despite the last two home successes, Manchester have still taken more points away than at home this season (14 versus 13). The visitors have won a total of four times away from home in the league, but don't expect them to get off to a fast start - after the first half they have only led once in Premier League this season!
Their next opponent this time will be newcomer Brentford, where they will be looking to atone for their recent performance at another London newcomer (Watford 1:4). The "Bees" fixed their appetite on Friday by winning against Watford (2-1) and with 20 points they are currently trying to stay in the first half of the table and, somewhat surprisingly, the fight for survival does not concern them at all. However, the improving form of the visitors and the absence of key home scorer Toney will play their part and United will leave with three points.
My bet:
Manchester United @ 1.90 (bet365)
