PORTUGAL: Liga Portugal - Round 2
In the second round of the Portuguese league here we have Braga taking on last year's champions Sporting.
Sporting and Braga both won their first games of new season. Sporting won home 3:0 against newcomer Vizela and Braga won away 2:0 against Maritimo. The two teams met two weeks ago in the Portuguese Super Cup, in which Sporting won 2:1 to win their first trophy of the new season.
None of this teams are playing any European competitions during the week, so there is no reason to save on players and both teams will bring out the best they have. Sporting will be missing young Nuno Mendes, who has a leg injury that is the only loss on Sporting's side, while Braga shouldn't be missing anyone.
The only minus for Sporting might be that they play on Braga's ground, so I prefer to choose a safer bet (if the match ends in a draw, the stake will be returned), but I still think Sporting will get 3 points.
