ATP - SINGLES: St. Petersburg (Russia), hard (indoor) - 1/8-finals
Van De Zandschulp is a tennis player from the Netherlands and his score this year is 52/22. This year he is showing amazing performances, shining the brightest at the US Open, where he reached the quarter-finals and beat Ruud (8.), Schwartzman 16.) and took a set from Medvedev (2.). His last match was with Nishioka, right here in St. Petersburg, where he played beautiful tennis a won 2:0. I have a lot of confidence in him here and I think he should win. He's ranked 69th in the ATP rankings.
Korda is a tennis player from the USA and his score this year is 30/17. Korda has played slightly less matches than his opponent. He took the title in Parma, but his performance went downhill after that tournament. He was knocked out by Basi at the US Open, by Sonego in San Diego, by Tiafeo in Indian Wells and here in St. Petersburg he was quite troubled with Serdarusic. He is ranked 38th in the ATP rankings.
Here I believe more in Botic, he has better actual form and I would rather see him in the next round.
My bet:
Botic Van De Zandschulp @ 2.0 (bet365)
