Dortmund want to forget the previous two defeats and get back on the winning track, as they are still in second place with four points behind Bayern Munich despite a large number of injury list (Haaland, Reyna, Can, Dahoud and Morey Bauzà). Dortmund rely primarily on their home ground at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK - they are the only team in the competition not to have lost at home yet (6-0-0), scoring an average of 3.17 goals per game there. However, the recent home defeat to Ajax in the Champions League may be a warning, but they were greatly helped by a long power play after Mats Hummels was sent off.
Stuttgart won 5:1 in Dortmund less than a year ago, but they are not in an ideal situation at the moment, with only ten points after 11 rounds (2-4-5), which is enough for the last non-relegation position. VfB, who like Dortmund have been plagued by numerous absences, have yet to win away and have not scored more than one goal in any of their five games there (0-3-2), and it would not be surprising if neither of these facts changed.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Borussia Dortmund -1.5 @ 1.93 (bet365)
