Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund fulfilled their role as favourites against Ingolstadt, after their league win in Bielefeld (1:3), and advanced to the eighth round of the German Cup. Dortmund has thrived under coach Marco Rose, losing only four of their 15 competitive matches - BVB have not drawn once under his leadership, so this match should see a winner. Dortmund remain at home in the league as the only team in the league at 100% and if they win again, they will extend their record streak of nine consecutive home Bundesliga wins - their longest streak since 1994! Dortmund could do so as they welcome Cologne, against whom they have lost only one of the last 21 matches in the German top league (16-4-1) at Signal Iduna Park.
Cologne have had an unbalanced season, but a week ago they made up for a two-goal deficit in the derby against Leverkusen and got a point for a 2-2 draw, and on Wednesday they secured their place in the next round of the DFB-Pokal with a win in Stuttgart. Last year's win at Dortmund may also give them the confidence they need - for the first time since 1988 they can win twice in a row, but they won't - Dortmund, despite the absence of top scorer Erling Haaland, will confirm their home form with another three points.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Borussia Dortmund -1.0 @ 1.70 (bet365)
