Champions League
With three losses in a row, Dortmund have lost their chance to advance to the next stage and must take the Europa League as their "only" reward. In the group stage, they struggled mainly with poor productivity - only 5 goals scored in 5 games is desperately low for a team full of offensive players. But they will surely miss one of them. Julian Brandt "suffered" a concussion in the weekend match against Bayern after one of the headers and spent the night in hospital. In the end, BVB lost the match which aroused a lot of emotions 2:3 at home and are now 4 points behind Bayern in the league.
Besiktas is the worst team in this year's Millionaire's Cup - they are the only team that has failed to score a point and have a significantly negative 3:14 score. They are not doing well in the Turkish league either, where after 4 losses in a row they at least drew at the weekend. They are in 9th place in the table and a massive 18 points behind first-placed Trabzon.
Dortmund will be looking to make amends after losing Der Klassiker and will beat their opponents in the handicap.
