COUNTER-STRIKE: Blast Premier: Fall (Europe) - Winners stage
Vitality is not in the most convincing form, and perhaps not surprisingly. If the behind-the-scenes information is true, two players from Astralis and their coach will join Vitality, which means the end for the current roster. And that won't give the players much of an appetite for the game, especially those who will have to leave the roster. It doesn't affect the results that much, they still have a pretty solid win ratio, but the key is what teams they play against. Unconvincing victories against a slumping Evil Geniuses, a declining Astralis and an uncertain Entropiq at Major, and now against a crumbling Liquid at BLAST, aren't exactly something they want to be proud of.
Astralis, on the other hand, are somewhat erratic after big lineup changes. Their last game at the Major was a 1-2 loss against Vitality, but this time they are on a better run. They kicked off with a win against Swedish NIP, but it's hard to judge how they really are in terms of form. After all, NIP have also made a lineup change, so they are in pretty uncharted territory. Astralis showed at the Overpass against NIP that they are still not composed enough, which was reflected in their rather poor variation of strategies, but in the end it was enough to win against the Swedes. So compared to last time, they probably improved, but only on the server will we see who comes out on top.
It's safer to bet on more than 2.5 maps - Vitality is more balanced than Astralis, but Astralis has a certain ace up its sleeve in the form of unpredictability. So we're looking at an even match that won't end on the second map.
My bet:
Over 2.5 Maps @ 1.83 (bet365)
