Champions League
Benfica beat Barcelona 3-0 in their last home game of the group, not even allowing them a single shot between the three bars. Add to that a 0-0 draw in Kiev and you have a pretty solid start to the competition. This weekend in Portugal there was "only" the cup on the schedule, so coach Jesus let some players rest. As far as the league is concerned, the home side are in first place with a 7-0-1 score. But the Champions League is a completely different competition and Bayern is a tough opponent, especially when they are on a fire.
On Sunday, Bayern beat Leverkusen 5-1 on his own field! A decent pre-game for the match in Lisbon. The goals scored per game average in the Bundesliga is an impressive 3.63. They defeated Barcelona with ease and Kiev at home = 6 points, score 8:0 in group. One big ride under the new coach Nagelsmann. Robert Lewandowski (33 years old) is growing up like a wine, he has played 11 games this season and has scored 15 times. Three years ago, these two teams also met in Lisbon in the group stage and Bayern won 2-0. The same result can be expected now - Bayern will win.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Bayern Munich -1.5 @ 2.10 (bet365)
