ATP - SINGLES: Indian Wells (USA), hard - 1/16-finals
Here I will play a win for a 24 year old home tennis player Reilly Opelka (ATP 20) when he has a score of 20/18 (Hard surface is 94/75.) this season and has beaten players like Tsitsipas, Bautista, Kyrgios, Delbonis, Karatsev, Musetti but also his today opponent Dimitrov by 2-0 sets. So nice results, and he can play really well when he's in the right mood for the match, plus his smart servis. This season, he reached the final of the Masters Toronto where he lost to Medvedev (2.), the semifinals of Rome and the 1/8-finals of the US Open. Here in the first round he beat Daniel in two sets.
The opponent will be 30-year-old Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (ATP 28), who was once a world number three, but as far as his current qualities are concerned, they are just not at such a level to be equal to, for example, world number 15 players. His score this year is 19/15 and his form is not optimal. He reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open. Here he beat Altmaier in the tournament. This year he was beaten by Giron, Musetti, Moutet, Harris, Popyrin.
H2H is 1-0 for Opelka from this year's Toronto Masters when Opelka won 6-3 / 6-4 and I trust him today!
