ATP - SINGLES: ATP Cup (Australia), hard
As part of Canada vs. Great Britain, Felix Auger Aliassime (11) and Cameron Norrie (12) will face each other in this match.
Auger Aliassime is a 21-year-old tennis player and his maximum is one rank higher. He is a very promising player and has had some great success on the hard court. For example, he played the final at the Murray River Open or SF at the final Grand Slam of the season in New York. Here in his first match against the USA he lost to Taylor Fritz in a tight battle 1:2.
Norrie is a 26-year-old player and is currently at his ranking maximum. He is coming off a season of a lifetime, which he crowned with his debut appearance in the prestigious Tournament of Champions. There, in his match against Germany, he lost to Zverev in a smooth 6:7 / 1:6.
In this match, the Canadian tennis player is a slight favourite for me. Norrie put in a fantastic performance towards the end of last year and it will be very difficult for him to keep the bar set so high. Auger Aliassime has impressed me a bit better here so far and the mutual record also speaks in his favour (2:0 overall, last time 2021 - Vienna- indoor - 2:1).
Felix Auger Aliassime to win @ 1.90 (bet365)
