Champions League
A direct battle for promotion. The maths is clear - Atalanta need to win, Villarreal just need not to lose. If there will be a draw, the home team will play the knockout part of the Europa League.
Atalanta is the favourite and will go for the win. They beat Napoli 3-2 at the weekend and are fourth in the league. They haven't lost ten games in a row and has scored 26 goals! An incredible offensive force that is not just based on the productivity of one or two players. Villarreal will finish third if they lose. They haven't been doing well lately, losing 1-0 to Sevilla at the weekend. In away games, it's generally miserable - this season they have made 11 appearances on the opponents' pitches and won twice. Of those, once was against an amateur side in the Copa del Rey. And in La Liga they are currently in 13th position. The midfielder Yeremi Pino will stand for yellow cards.
Given the current form of both opponents and the set promotion maths, anything other than an Italian win will be a surprise.
