Odds over 3, I'll definitely try to play Chardy here, who will play with Karatsev at the Olympics.
It seems to me that Karatsev, after his incredible start to the season, which he won the title in Dubai, is struggling. He has won five of his last 10 matches, he has also struggled on grass against Tabilo and Chardy knocked him out 3-0 in sets at Wimbledon.
Karatsev has long been an average player moving in the better top three. Last year, at the age of 26, he worked his way up the ATP rankings to 112. And this year he is already ranked 24th in the ATP rankings.
Against him stands the experienced Chardy who has been in the Top 100 since 2008 with the exception of 2011 when he finished at ATP: 103. So Chardy has a much more consistent score.He will probably be too old for the next Olympics, so he will also have a strong motivation at this Olympics.
