ITALY: Serie A
Two league wins in a row have moved AS Roma up to fifth place before the start of this round, with the last one at Atalanta (4-1) being particularly valuable. It was also the first game in Italian Serie A history in which two Englishmen scored - Tammy Abraham, who opened the scoring in the first minute, and Chris Smailing. The latter even scored for the second game in a row. The Romans return home, where they have won six of their last nine games (6-1-2), most recently beating Spezia 2-0. However, they have kept a clean sheet only once in their last five matches and it won't be easy this time either. In fact, Sampdoria have managed to score in nine of their last ten encounters, and in six in a row this bet on both teams to score would have worked. Last time, it didn't satisfy coach D'Aversa's charges, as they lost their game against Venezia in last minutes (1-1) and still remain in 15th place. Moreover, the visitors have not fared well against strong opponents this season, having earned a single point from seven matches against the current top eight (before the start of this round), conceding at least three goals in five of the six losses. But they have managed to score at least once in five occasions, suggesting that one of the Caputo-Quagliarella pair could improve their score in this match.
My bet:
Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 1.70 (bet365)
