Arizona is one of the biggest busts in the NHL, winning only 5 out of 23 games, 3 of them in regular time, by a score of 42:82 and they are in last place in the Western Conference. Arizona has a very weak offense and Keller and Kessel can't really pull it off on their own so the only way they can win is if one of the Vejmelka-Wedgewood duo puts in a great performance, otherwise the chances of Arizona winning are really slim. In their last game, Arizona lost 2-5 to Minnesota.
After 22 games, Vegas is in 10th place in the Western Conference with 24 points and a score of 71:70. Vegas has been plagued by injuries or covid so far this season, but Marschessault returned in the last game, which is definitely good news and can play a big role in this game. Vegas was in pretty good form all November, winning 8 out of 13 games, including a 3:2 win over the unpleasant Minnesota despite injuries to players like Paccioretty and Stone. I think Vegas has a better offense which should send a lot of shots on Arizona's goal and I don't believe there will be a repeat of the Winnipeg-Arizona game in the near future where Vejmelka shined with 46 saves.
My bet:
Vegas Golden Knights (in regular time) @ 1.71 (bet365)
