Sixth place after 11 rounds with a minimal loss for the European Cups is a big step up for Angers. But last round clearly showed that Gerald Batticle's men will hardly stay there. On the pitch of struggling St. Etienne, Angers created only 2 chances, from which they scored quite happily and for the rest of the match they rather relied on defending the lead, which they failed to do and took away a 2-2 draw.
Nice had quite a good week, as they managed to turn the game against Lyon from 0:2 to 3:2 last weekend and in Wednesday's match they took a point for a draw with Marseille on neutral ground in Troyes.
