Ryan Getzlaf has had a very good start to the league, having 15 points for one goal and 14 assists in 15 games played. The 36 year old having seven points in his last 5 games, which is great form. He is currently playing on the first line and also on the first power play line with 21 minutes of ice time, which is very good for his age. But he's proving that age is just a number and he's doing more than enough.
Anaheim has climbed to fourth place in the Western Conference with 19 points in the last few games and they have six wins in a row. Their opponent tonight is Vancouver, so far, is giving very mixed performances and belongs to the worse half of the league than to the better one. The Canucks are currently in 13th place in the Western Conference, with only Chicago, Seattle and Arizona below them.
For me, the favorite today is clearly Anaheim, who are playing in better form and are the fourth highest scoring team in Western Conference at home. I expect Anaheim to score 3-4 goals in tonight's game and Getzlaf will surely assert himself in one of them with his current form!
