Serie A
Even two goals by the ageless Zlatan Ibrahimovic were not enough for AC Milan to get the points from the last league match at Fiorentina (3:4), which was affected by the gross defensive mistakes of one of the championship contenders. The Swedish veteran at least confirmed that he still has something to offer and the speculations about a contract extension are justified. Considering that even Napoli didn't win, the Rossoneri don't have to despair so much as they stayed at the top of the league. But they drew with Inter before the national break and they certainly don't need a third loss in a row. Coach Pioli's team have a vivid memory of their spring home loss to Sassuolo (1:2), which was the only one in the previous ten meetings (7 wins, 2 draws).
The visitors, on the other hand, continue to flounder after their surprise 2-1 win at Juventus at the end of October and after two losses in a row, they couldn't even beat a very weak Cagliari (2-2) last time. Coach Alessio Dionisi will probably need even more time to adjust to his new team, but it's questionable whether he's already coming under a bit of pressure. They are currently 13th in the Italian league with 15 points.
I trust ACM. They are a very strong team at home, and their quality is definitely higher than the visitors.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: AC Milan -1.0 @ 1.88 (bet365)
